Call to Caucus for Senate District 9

Attention Prince Edward Democrats in precincts 201, 301, 302, 401, and 501! There will be a special election to replace VA Senator Frank Ruff on January 9, 2024. We no longer need the caucus, but we will still meet! The Prince Edward Democratic Committee will meet Monday, January 8 at 6pm in the Extension Office (100 Dominion Drive, Farmville) for our biennial reorganization meeting and election of officers, followed by a work session. Special Election to Replace Sen. Ruff on January 9!

Did you know there is an important election in two weeks if you live in Prince Edward County outside of town limits? Frank Ruff, who represents District 9 in the General Assembly--most of Prince Edward County, has resigned. His successor will be elected Tuesday, January 9th! We are sorry for Sen. Feb. 3 Meet & Greet with Bob Good’s Democratic Competition!

Come meet the four Democratic candidates running against Bob Good for the 5th District seat in Congress! The Prince Edward Democratic Committee has called a Caucus to be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Virginia Tech Extension Service Building at 100 Dominion Drive, Farmville, VA 23901. May/June combined meeting Monday, June 3

The PEDC is not meeting at our usual day, Monday, May 27, because of the Memorial Day holiday. Instead, we will hold a combined May/June meeting on Monday, June 3 at 6pm in the Extension office (100 Dominion Drive, Farmville). Join us! We will have a closed meeting from 6-6:30 for members only. New Members or visitors should arrive at 6:30.

Early voting has already started for the Democratic Primary on June 18.
