Early voting begins at the registrar's office September 20. Among other things, we are voting for a president, a senator, and congressional representative. Vote early at the registrar's office from 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday and on two Saturdays: October 26 & November 2. Your vote matters!

Due to the election results for Congressional District 5, John McGuire will have to resign from his current VA Senate seat prior to his installation in Congress. This will open up the Senate District 10 seat for a special election--very soon. Amanda Chase, rated the most conservative state senator in Virginia, has moved to Appomattox so that she can run for this seat. Many other Republicans have expressed interest in this seat.
